President, National Association of Black Women in Construction
Tylene Henry owns and operates Ujima Services (MBE, DBE), a strategic business planning and development consulting firm where she serves the private, public, and governmental sectors. She is also the president of the National Association of Black Women in Construction, serves on Michigan congresswoman Brenda Lawrence’s Women’s Advisory Committee, civic engagement committee chair for the Independent Business Association, and is a volunteer facilitator with Youth for Global Health and Social Justice.
Ms. Henry has a unique ability to create, leverage, and facilitate transformational leadership and developmental programs that integrate youth, budding professionals, and executives into cutting-edge and results-driven collaborations. Tylene is proudly committed to social equity and she insists that diversity, equity, and inclusion is a lifelong journey that requires the ongoing development of meaningful relationships, measurement, and accountability for all community and organizational stakeholders.
