Teresa Hollingbird-Jackson

Teresa was born in the heart of the Mississippi Delta and spent most of her summer in the cotton fields chopping cotton to buy her school clothes and supplies for the upcoming school year.  After high school, Teresa attended Alcorn State University, an HBCU school in Lorman, MS.  Teresa later went on to attend Triton College where she received an associate degree in accounting.  She also received her Bachelor of Science degree from DeVry University and her Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management.  Teresa received her specialist degree in Kitchen and Bath Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

In 2007, Teresa started her own construction and design company called Aseret (Teresa spelled backward) Development Series LLC.  Teresa has over 15 years renovating homes for public and private clients.  Teresa is a General Contractor and Roofer Contractor, with offices in Illinois, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, and North Carolina.  Teresa is a National Board member of the US Minority Contractors Association and the President of the USMCA Real Estate Investment Entrepreneur Division. Teresa is a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Alumni, and a member of NAWBO, NABWIC, Atlanta Black Chambers, Westchester Chamber of Commerce, Melrose Park Chamber of Commerce, Government Contractors Association, and WBENC. In 2019, Teresa was awarded the Minority Contractor of the Year.

Teresa holds DBE, MWBE, ICC, RRP, SEC3, SBE, SBI, and WOSB certifications.
