Tasharia D. Gardner is the CEO of Reuben’s Construction, LLC located in Prattville, Alabama. She is a second-generation family-owned minority General Contractor where her father Reuben Gardner passed the torch to running the family business on to her. Although she has a demanding schedule Tasharia finds the time to mentor college students to advance their business skill sets along with tutoring under-privilege students at Chicago Lights in different academic subject matters. She has been a motivational and business speaker for several different organizations and academic institutions in different areas of Project Management, Construction Management, and Business Management. She previously collaborated with Chicago Cares where she volunteered in the areas of teaching economically challenged individuals and incarnated women different computer skills, and taught how to develop resumes and cover letters, and conducted mock interview to meet the challenging job market. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Logistics from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University. And a Master of Science in Project Management and Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Management-Chicago Loop where she graduated with honors. Tasharia presently splits her time between Illinois and Alabama. She enjoys fishing, sporting events, and traveling.
