Sandra Arredondo is the SVP, HR & Administration at HBK Engineering. HBK Engineering, LLC is a proven leader in utility engineering. We are a fully licensed, professional engineering design firm headquartered in downtown Chicago, with local offices throughout the country. In 2020, HBK Engineering, LLC joined forces with Quanta Services, the leading specialty contractor with the largest skilled labor force in North America – providing fully integrated infrastructure solutions for the utility, energy, and communications industries. She is responsible for HBK’s functional support areas: Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance, Community Relations, Marketing, Safety and Facilities. Sandra joined HBK in January 2016 leading the Human Resources department and quickly established herself as a leader who became integral in the vision of building strong synergy between the functional support areas as they continue adding great value and efficiencies to the organization at large.

Over the course of 20+ years in human resources, Sandra has gained tremendous experience integrating employee populations and human resource functions following large-scale mergers and acquisitions. She joined HBK after being the SVP of HR at Tribune Broadcasting where she lead the HR function across its 42 broadcast TV stations and supporting 5k employees. Sandra joined Tribune from GE after 17 years at GE Capital through various HR roles to include VP of HR for NBC and Telemundo Chicago for 9 years.

Sandra received a BS in Psychology and MS in Labor and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign.

Sandra grew up in the Southside of Chicago, and currently lives with her husband Rolando, daughter Noemi & son Julian in the Chicagoland area.
