Sandi Llano, President of Sandi Llano & Associates, (SLA), has more than 43 years of experience in DBE/MBE/WBE/SBE/VBE Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Programs, which includes the writing, training, implementation and oversight of these programs. Having started this career at the RTA in 1980, then moving to Metra in 1984, as Metra's DBE Director until 2011, is now president of Sandi Llano & Assocites where she currently executes the same tasks as she did as Metra's DBE Director: Program writing, training and implementation Community Outreach D/M/W/S/VBE certifications Currently, SLA is working with: Colette Holt & Associates on the IDOT DBE Disparity Study Austin Power Partners on the O'Hare 21 Project Il Hispanic Chamber/ Il Tollway Technical Assistance Program Assisting contractors navigate government bids Past accomplishments include: DBE Liaison/Community Outreach Director on $220 million CTA Red Line with Kiewit Infrastructure Wrote DBE Program for CSR America to receive a $2 billion CTA rail car project Performed federally funded oversight of a contractor's publicly funded projects for three years Worked with Colette Holt & Associates on several D/M/WBE Disparity Studies: City of Chicago, CTA, Pace Bus, Cook County, Metra, RTA, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District.
