Othoniel Negron
Carpentry in Construction Instructor,
Chicago Public Schools Chicago BUILDS
Born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to a family of tradesmen from carpenters to bricklayers. I have been in the trades since a very early age. After years in the field, I decided to teach my skills to the students of the Chicago BUILDS Construction Training program in Chicago Public Schools.. Chicago Builds is a citywide, two-year off-campus construction training program for CPS juniors and seniors interested in pursuing a career in construction after graduating high school. The program geared towards equity and diversity within Chicago's youth.. Our program concentrates in Carpentry, Electrical, Welding and HVAC.
