Nicol Chervenak, Director of Planning and Program Management at the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority (MPEA), manages the development, design, and construction of projects on the McCormick Square campus, including the interface with adjoining developments and the neighborhood. Some current long-range planning projects include a major campus expansion/renovation, a wayfinding and digital signage masterplan, as well as projects with the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place and the Marriott Marquis, key business units on the campus. Prior to her position at the MPEA, Nicol managed the design of large scale residential, healthcare, and multi-use projects for both development and architecture firms, nationally and internationally.
