Mike Woolsey is the Business Development Manager for Swegon North America. He became interested in building energy use during the 1970s, when natural gas became scarce, energy prices soared and awareness about energy use surged. Ongoing curiosity about building science led to a career in the HVAC industry that began in 1985 while Mike was completing his BSME degree from Washington University in St. Louis. Now a Certified Passive House Designer, WELL AP and WELL Faculty member, Mike specializes in product and system applications, market management and business development and has presented on ventilation topics in the United States and abroad at hundreds of seminars. An active member of ASHRAE, Mike is Chair of ASHRAE SPC 227P Passive Building Design Standard. Also active in IWBI, Mike serves on the WELL Thermal Comfort Advisory.
