A native of Buffalo, NY, Maria received her undergraduate Degree in Marketing from Canisius College while working in Media Advertising. Following graduation, she earned her MBA abroad at the Sacred Heart University at Luxembourg. Vigorous networking and persistence paved the way to a marketing position at Arthur Andersen Luxembourg. With the support of her peers and managers here, she was awarded full time work status through Luxembourg’s Ministry of Employment and continued to work here during the 5 years living abroad.

Upon returning to the US, she assumed several Management positions in Marketing and Sales; leading high performance teams in the health and fitness industry. It was through her engagements here that she segued into the built environment. Maria is eight years into working for a Canadian manufacturer of resilient commercial flooring, spanning several Midwest states. She receives recognition that goes beyond business development success, and which speaks to her commitment to the relationships she engages.

Maria spends her free time in the yoga studio, learning and teaching. She finds this outlet to be a great way to balance the vigor of corporate life.
