Before moving back to Chicago I attended the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. After college I moved back to Chicago and started my career is Chicago Construction Recruitment- I quickly realized my passion for the Construction industry and that I wanted to get more involved on a deeper level. At Valenti Builders I am the Manager of Strategic Partnerships; my job allows me to still recruit for my company while doing Business Development and making new relationships in the AEC industry.  

Statement:

The AEC industry has so much to offer and there are so many different career paths you can choose from. People can’t strive to be things they don’t see represented or don’t know about. Women offer a different and uniquely beneficial skillset to the industry and we need more women to want to be here. We need them to feel welcomed. That is why I think it is so important for more women to share their experiences and stories.
