I am the Design Application Manager for the Chicago office of Perkins&Will. In this role I support the studio with everything digital related, from working with teams to create innovative digital strategies, to researching how new applications and technologies can be used to improve our workflows and craft. Prior to taking the role of Design Apps, I worked as an Architect in Los Angeles, Dallas and now Chicago. My primary design experience falls into early phase design and analysis of hospitality and healthcare.

My current role has afforded me direct experience with the emergence of AI as a common tool this last year. I help host the Perkins&Will quarterly Core eXchange series, a weeklong webinar series held by the Digital Practice team, with this past summer’s theme being AI in the AEC industry. Meeting the keynote speaker, Phil Bernstein associate Dean at Yale and author of Machine Learning, Architecture in the age of Artificial Intelligence, allowed for insights into the current AI revolution being experienced in our industry.
