President, Nail-Rite Construction Company Inc

Ms. Kimle Nailer, a licensed builder, is owner of Nail-Rite Construction Company which started in 1995. Ms. Nailer is a member of the National Association of Black Women in Construction (NABWIC) organization and served as National President until 2022. She inspires Black Women to pursue careers in construction to support the wealth transfer for economic empowerment of Black Communities. Ms. Nailer expanded her residential construction company into commercial contracting, developing retail space and partnering with prime contractors to build Detroit’s Hockey and Basketball Arena and Piston’s Training Center. She holds a business degree from Wayne State University and had a successful career as a Senior Business Analyst before transitioning into construction. She currently serves as a Planning Commissioner of Eastpointe, MI, and previously served on the Zoning Board. She’s a board member with Michigan Women’s Forward, a non-profit that provides capital for women-owned businesses. She chairs their CDFI committee and serves on the Diversity Committee. She has been widely celebrated for her work: 2022 Crain's Notable Women in Construction, Architecture and Design; 2020 Michigan Chronicles’ Women of Excellence Award; Recognized as One of Detroit’s Top CEOs in the “2020 Who’s Who in Black Detroit” Ninth Edition, and numerous other awards.
