Born and raised in Taiwan until age 11, moved to the Chicago suburbs, and attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for Architecture. In the past 13 years I've worked for a design firm, 3 different sized general contractors, and am now working in construction consulting.  My experiences in Healthcare, Aviation, Automotive, Retail, Public sector, and Residential sections has provided a variety of different perspectives.  It is very exciting to be working in the construction and design field in a city like Chicago.

Statement:

Empowering young women and fostering diversity can lead to impactful solutions to today’s greatest challenges.  The experiences that come from different backgrounds provide unique perspectives from which to draw upon. 

I truly believe that we have both the responsibility, and an opportunity, in the design and construction industry to make dynamic changes on our path to building a sustainable future.  Education and innovation can lead to prosperous outcomes.
