As the Associate Director of Architecture – Sustainability at Ryan, Kaity’s blend of skills in architectural design, graphics, 3-D modeling and sustainability make her an important resource to the team and an asset on projects of all kinds. Kaity is responsible for leading the Ryan Architecture and Engineering (A+E) team’s sustainability efforts and works with project teams and clients to define their vision, turn it into an actionable plan and serve as a resource throughout project documentation and build-out to ensure the sustainability vision is executed in the final project. An avid learner with more than 10 years of architectural experience, Kaity is always on the lookout for new and innovative technologies that can push projects to the next level and deliver better solutions to clients. In addition, Kaity works with A+E Leadership alongside Ryan’s construction, development, preconstruction and property management teams to implement a sustainability program and works alongside Ryan’s Chief Sustainability Officer, Joe Rozza, on corporate sustainability initiatives. Kaity is involved in sustainability-focused organizations such as USGBC, Illinois Green Alliance, and the Chicago Sustainable Construction Leaders. She holds NCARB, LEED Green Associate and WELL AP certifications.
