Compiling an impressive portfolio that spans almost two decades, Julie is recognized for her inventive sense of design that scales from intimate projects to imposing volume. Julie possesses a meticulous attention to detail, orchestrating a deliberately fluid creation of space. Attesting this unparalleled expertise, Julie’s award-winning works have been recognized in publications such as Boutique Design, Hotel Business, Hotel Management and VMSD. Her design of the firm’s recent hospitality project, Hotel Versey was recently awarded “The 12 Best Designed Hotels Opening This Year” by Architectural Digest. At Chipman Design Architecture, Julie is charged with design management, taking projects from conceptualization through completion. Her range includes an array of nationwide retail, restaurant, hospitality, multi-family, senior living and education projects. A graduate of Illinois State University, Julie received her Bachelor of Science in Interior and Environmental Design.
