Jimena Sayavedra is a commercial real estate professional specialized in all aspects of industrial real estate. She represents business owners on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing for land, manufacturing, warehouses and distribution facilities. Since 2019 Jimena has served as Industrial Specialist at Newmark, one of the world’s largest full service commercial real estate firms.

Previously, she worked as an urban planner in various roles in public engagement consulting and in regional planning.

Helping others has always been an integral part of Jimena’s work. As such, she serves on numerous boards for organizations aligned with helping other minorities enter commercial real estate and elevating women in a traditionally male-dominated field.

Jimena is an alumna and current board member of Project REAP, the nation’s largest diversity and inclusion initiative program. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Urban Land Institute Women’s Leadership Initiative, as board member of Women in Industrial Real Estate, and former board member of the Chicago Association of Realtors.

Jimena received her Master’s in Urban Planning and Policy specializing in Economic Development from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Buenos Aires.
