Jenna Bresler first joined Silman in 2008 as the fourth Robert Silman Fellow for Preservation Engineering at the National Trust for Historic Preservation. In 2018, Jenna relocated to Ann Arbor, MI, to open up Silman’s Ann Arbor office as Associate in Charge. Jenna has experience with a wide variety of projects ranging from conditions assessments of historic buildings, large institutional renovations, and adaptive reuse projects. She believes that working on existing structures helps inform our future in new construction - through understanding antiquated ways of construction and the social context in which buildings were once made, can we develop new ways to be efficient in today’s designs without compromising vision.
