Emma Cuciurean-Zapan, AIA, LEED AP BD+C is an Architect at SmithGroup, one of the world’s preeminent integrated design firms. With over 10 years of experience, she possesses broad skills in planning and design that enhance the outcomes for all her projects. Her expertise lies at the translation of planning results into design solutions that support students, faculty, and inter-personal success. Emma is a member of the advisory team for Open City Workshop, and she participates in the SCUP Emerging Leaders Program. Emma received a Master of Architecture from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, and Art Theory & Practice from Northwestern University.
