Elizabeth Schneider

President, Chicago Women in Architecture
Elizabeth is an Associate at Goettsch Partners (GP) where she has worked since 2017. At GP, she works as a project architect on international high-rise office, hotel, and mixed-use projects. Recent projects include a 140m Bank Headquarters Tower, a 300m office tower, and a 200m Grand Hyatt hotel. An advanced Revit user, she has been the BIM coordinator for several projects and has developed Revit standards for the office.

In addition to her project work, she is the founder of the Goettsch Partners Women's Group, a group that aims to connect the community of women at GP to the larger community of women in the AEC industry. As founder, she invited industry leaders to the firm for a series of quarterly panel discussions focused on creating a more equitable profession.

Since 2019, in continuation of her effort to promote women in architecture, she has worked with Chicago Women in Architecture, a not-for-profit organization that is a forum for women in architecture and related professions. She served as Vice President in 2021 and currently serves as President.
