Duk Kim is an accomplished designer, leader, and teacher of hospitality experiences. Inspired by the impact of architecture and interior design from an early age, Duk has logged countless miles traveling the world during his career in leading the creative vision and execution of notable hospitality, gaming, and residential projects. Holding posts ranging from Hong Kong to Chicago for over two decades, his commitment to collaboration and holistic design-thinking along with his keen understanding of how today’s shifting cultural influences stimulate built environments are reflected in the creation of his teams’ rich hospitality experiences.

An architect by training, Duk also served as adjunct faculty for hospitality interior design studios at the college level for several years. Recognized as an industry expert, Duk is often invited to speak at major hospitality design related conferences and is frequently published in a variety of sources.

As the Global Hospitality Leader for Stantec Architecture, Duk works on a variety of hospitality project types and scales while collaborating with many of Stantec Architecture’s studios in strategizing and planning for Stantec Architecture’s growth in hospitality.
