Claudia I. Rodriguez is a senior construction project manager at Preservation of Affordable Housing where she brings her experience as an architect and project manager to provide design and construction management knowledge and support to POAH’s real estate development projects. Claudia is a licensed architect in the state of Illinois with over 20 years of experience in architecture and construction related fields. She spent the first few years of her career working at VOA Associates, now Stantec. After VOA, she spent 10 years (2005-2016) practicing as an architect for Landon Bone Baker Architects, an award-winning firm in Chicago known for affordable housing design. At LBBA she was project architect and manager on affordable housing projects that included scattered site rehabilitations, multifamily new construction, and mixed use. In 2016 she joined National Equity Fund, Inc, a syndicator, as a construction risk manager to pursue more knowledge about LIHTC and how it is used to provide affordable housing. Claudia received her Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She became a licensed architect in the State of Illinois in 2008. In 2020 she obtained the PHIUS (Passive House Institute) Certified Builder certification.
