Christine Flynn, MSW, MPA
Christine serves as a public service consultant for the Office of Illinois Works through the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. Utilizing her decade of experience in non-profit management, development, and consulting she has played a significant role in the creation and implementation of the Illinois Works Pre-apprenticeship Program and is an integral member of the team crafting the soon-to-launch Bid Credit Program. Christine holds a Master of Social Work in Leadership & Development from Loyola University Chicago and a Master of Public Administration and Community Planning from the University of Illinois – Springfield.
Statement:
I wholeheartedly believe that the future success of the construction industry in Chicago, in Illinois, and across the nation is rooted in fighting the desire to do “business as usual.” For too long the door to this industry has been closed to whole populations, but it is time for that to change.
