Chad has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, of which 15 years have been in the virtual design and construction (BIM) specialty.  As the Director of Virtual Design & Construction, Chad leads a team of innovators who use construction technology such as drones, laser scanning, reality capture, 3D modeling and coordination and cutting-edge apps to help W.E. O’Neil’s project teams successfully complete projects.  He’s led the BIM coordination on high-profile projects for clients such as The University of Notre Dame (The Campus Crossroads Project) and The Detroit Redwings (Little Caesars Arena) as well as multiple hospitals throughout the United States.  He is an expert on systems integration and coordination and is passionate about how construction technology can enhance the building process.  Chad’s passion for seeking ways to be better builders through the adoption of construction technology is one he practices daily.
