Chacrice Miles

Founder and CEO, Day Star Building Development Service LLC

Chacrice Miles is the founder and CEO of Daystar Building Development Services, LLC. In 2009 she became a licensed builder and since then, she has renovated over 30 homes in
Detroit, MI. She is certified in the State of Michigan as a MSHDA MBE/WMBE, DBE, and Asbestos & Lead Supervisor. She serves as a member of the National Association of Black
Women in Construction (NAWBIC). She also is a member of the Coalition of Labor Union Women (CLUW). Her entrepreneurial journey began as a licensed Cosmetologist of 20 years.
She also serves as the CEO of Transition 1.2.3 Inc., a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization. Since 2006, T123 has provided emergency transitional housing and supportive services for homeless domestically abused women and their children. Chacrice has received the Spirit of City of Detroit Award for being a supportive non-profit partnership by Manpower Mentoring and Inspire A Difference Award from ID, Glamour, and PEOPLE Magazine. She has been featured on the Today’s Show by Tamron Hall, and on the Dr. Phil Show representing women of DV where she received recognition by Hello Bello and When Georgia Smiles per Robin McGraw. She was elected by Henry Ford Hospital Community Representatives to serve as Block Club President. Her passion is to empower her family and community to build and create financial independence. Outside of work, she enjoys relaxing in her backyard with family and puppy Raya.
