Tristan de Frondeville is CEO of SkyCentrics, which builds AI-powered platforms to optimize building operations and connect equipment to the grid using open standards like CTA-2045 EcoPort, OpenADR and C4SBF opensource software such as the Interoperable Building Box (IBB) and Open Building Stack. Building owners, tired of vendor lock-in, value connecting to the many silo’d systems in their buildings, enabling a cybersecure, AI enhanced, multi-vendor data and optimization platform. Tristan serves on key standards committees including CTA-2045 and AHRI. He collaborates with NEEA, Energy Star, and national labs to advance policies for Grid-Interactive Efficient Buildings (GEBs), helping reduce grid costs, cut carbon emissions, and expand renewable energy use. A veteran of Apple and SRI International, he brings over 30 years of experience in software and hardware engineering management.
