Steve leads Gensler’s Midwest practice for Cities and Urban Design helping clients and communities imagine and achieve their future cities and towns. An architect and planner with 26 years of experience, Steve has worked in more than 45 communities across the country and internationally. His experience includes downtown and district planning, neighborhood and corridor planning, campus planning for higher education and healthcare, and mixed used developments. Steve holds a Master of Architecture in Urban Design degree from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design, and undergraduate architecture degrees from Ohio State University and Kent State University. He is also active in community and professional organizations at the local and national level including ULI, the Chicago Central Area Committee, Lambda Alpha International, and chair’s the AIA Regional and Urban Design Knowledge Committee.
