As Studio Director of Vocon’s Chicago office, Sophie Bidek brings more than two decades of experience designing complex, high-impact projects nationwide. Her portfolio includes luxury multi-family residences, boutique hotels, and large-scale mixed-use developments. She has led the design and delivery of thousands of residential units, including nationally recognized projects like One Chicago, North Union Chicago, and Wedgewood Village, Nashville.

Sophie is known for her strategic leadership, collaborative approach, and ability to deliver design solutions that reflect both client vision and community context. At Vocon—a nationally ranked architecture and interior design firm with offices in Cleveland, New York, and Chicago—she is focused on expanding the firm’s presence and portfolio throughout the Midwest.

A frequent speaker on adaptive reuse, urban placemaking, and advancing women in commercial real estate, Sophie is also a dedicated mentor and advocate for the next generation of design leaders.
