Dr. Khudeira is an Adjunct Professor with Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT)
He is a Section Chief of Major Projects with the Chicago DOT.
He is the Chief Editor of the Journal of Structural Design and Construction Practice, an ASCE Journal.
He is past President (2020-2021) of the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAOI).
He is past president of the National Arab American Association of Engineers and Architects (2022 – 2023)
He has over 35 years of experience in the private and government sectors, which include various disciplines of civil engineering including civil
He is a Fellow of ASCE and a Fellow of SEI
He earned his BS, MS, and PhD in Civil Engineering-Structures from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), Chicago.
He is a licensed Structural Engineer and Professional Engineer in Illinois.
