As Vice President of Data Center Strategy, Sean helps clients run 1000+ data centers sustainably and efficiently. Lately he’s advising retail customers how to tackle the electrical and mechanical challenges of designing, building, and operating AI GPU facilities and Offices of the CIO how to prepare digital infrastructure strategies that enable AI-fueled growth.
Prior roles, include Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Edge data center startup Ubiquity Critical Environments, data center manager for Microsoft’s 120MW Chicago facility, Technology Director at low-latency trading start-up, 7ticks, now part of NYSE, Director of Infrastructure at Rockwell Automation, and 15 years at The Boston Consulting Group.
Sean is a published technology author, contributing to both Greener Data volumes 1 & 2 , writing about digital infrastructure sustainability at scale . As JLL’s data center evangelist, he speaks monthly at events around the world. Sean holds a master’s degree in engineering from Northwestern University.
