Ross leads AECOM’s national architecture and interiors practice where his projects range from large-scale city planning to airport and industrial design spanning 20 cities on five continents. After serving his apprenticeship at Gwathmey Siegel & Associates Architects in New York, Ross spent ten years at SOM New York designing significant projects such as Changi Airport, Penn Station, and the World Trade Center. He then spent ten years at SOM Chicago where his focus was on high-rise, mixed-use buildings in the Middle East and China, including Infinity Tower in Dubai and the White Magnolia Plaza in Shanghai. Ross’s projects have been published widely and exhibited at distinguished institutions, such as the Venice Biennale, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. They have also received numerous awards, including three Progressive Architecture awards. Ross is a visiting design critic at Harvard University, Yale University, USC, UCLA, Sci Arc, Columbia University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Parsons, Illinois Institute of Technology, and the University of Illinois - Chicago. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from Yale and his Master of Architecture from Harvard.
