Rosalia Boccardi serves as a Bid Credit Monitor supporting the Office of Illinois Works initiative, a statewide workforce development model committed to advancing equity, inclusion, and access within the construction and building trades industry. In her role, Rosalia promotes the mission of Illinois Works and contributes to the development of the Bid Credit Program, an innovative contractor incentive tool designed to expand bidding opportunities on State-funded construction projects, while strengthening workforce diversity across public and non-public works projects statewide. Rosalia brings seven years of experience with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO), where she managed community development public works and workforce development grants that advanced infrastructure and expanded economic opportunity across Illinois. She is passionate about empowering communities, expanding economic opportunities, and improving equity within the construction and building trades industry.
