Speakers

Riya is an Associate Project Manager within JLL's Sustainability Consulting practice working at the intersection of buildings, data, and sustainability. She is part of the Climate and Decarbonization Services team and is based in Chicago. Her expertise lies in building and portfolio-level energy modeling and performance optimization, techno-economic analysis, IEQ post-occupancy evaluation, life cycle assessment, and data-driven sustainability analytics.

Prior to joining JLL, she worked as a building science researcher at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), contributing to policy initiatives and green building consulting projects while collaborating with private and government stakeholders in India.

Riya holds a Master of Science in Building Performance and Diagnostics from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Architecture from India. She actively contributes to the industry as a committee member with ASHRAE and IBPSA-USA and has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications.
