Patrick Carata joined Epstein in 2018, bringing with him more than two decades of distinguished design experience. As Design Director, he leads a broad array of project typologies spanning retail, office, hospitality, multi-family residential, and mixed-use high-rise developments. When guided by intention and vision, design has the transformative power to build community and usher in new chapters for neighborhoods and cities alike.

Leading and contributing his expertise to Epstein’s ongoing vision, he is involved in a range of forward-thinking, sustainable, and human-centric projects. These include a 500,000-square-foot adaptive reuse development in Chicago’s McKinley Park, a BREEAM-certified mixed-use tech office, hotel, and residential complex in Cyprus, and the $10 billion Midtown Bus Terminal redevelopment for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in partnership with London based architecture firm Foster + Partners.
