Pamela Villanueva is an architect, sustainability executive, Founder and Managing Director of Villa Nueva ESG Real Estate Advisors (V EREA), a Hamburg-based advisory firm helping institutional real estate owners and investment managers turn sustainability and decarbonization requirements into portfolio strategy, capital allocation, and measurable performance (for more details please see www.v-erea.com). Her international career spans more than 20 years across institutional investment, asset ownership, strategic advisory, and project delivery. She held senior sustainability positions at Union Investment Real Estate, served as Head of ESG Real Estate Germany at Swiss Life Asset Managers, and built and led ESG Strategic Advisory at CBRE Germany. This background gives her a 360-degree understanding of how climate and ESG considerations influence decisions from investment and fund strategy through to portfolio and asset implementation. Pamela combines investor-side leadership with technical building expertise, data assurance, and AI-supported decision-making. Her work connects climate risk, performance data, and CAPEX priorities with credible reporting and investment decisions, bridging European investor expectations with the operational realities of international real estate markets. She holds an MBA in Sustainable Management and a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence, lectures in Sustainable Real Estate Management at Hochschule Fresenius, and holds current LEED AP BD+C and AA1000 ACSAP credentials.
