Naveed Sarwar, PE, is Vice President and Director of Construction Engineering at AECOM, with over 20 years of experience in the transportation infrastructure industry. Based in Chicago, Naveed has led the delivery of major roadway, transit, and rail projects throughout the Chicagoland area and Northwest Indiana. His portfolio includes some of the region’s most complex infrastructure improvements. In his leadership role, Naveed oversees AECOM’s construction engineering and inspection (CEI) teams across the Midwest, ensuring consistent, high-quality project execution for state and local transportation agencies. In addition to his operational responsibilities, Naveed leads business development for AECOM’s Transportation business line in Illinois, focusing on strategic growth and long-term client partnerships. Known for his collaborative leadership style and deep understanding of both technical delivery and market dynamics, Naveed is committed to advancing the future of transportation infrastructure through innovation, accountability, and community impact.
