Misty Brown

Misty Brown is a former educator, dedicated to diversity in all things. Misty has worked with non-profit organizations to promote equity in education, social justice issues and now, transit. As Senior Manager, Outreach Programs at the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), Misty oversees the Workforce Initiatives and Small Business Development and Outreach teams within Diversity Programs. These teams expose small businesses to contracting opportunities within CTA, provide technical assistance and trainings to assist with business development while creating job opportunities for and increasing the participation of underrepresented communities in the labor force of our contractors. Misty holds a master’s degree in public administration and is committed to public service.
