Kristen Nelson

Kristen Nelson is an Account Executive at SmartPM Technologies, bringing more than 20 years of software experience with over a decade dedicated to construction technology.

Kristen began her construction technology career at PlanGrid, later acquired by Autodesk, where she worked closely with contractors and project teams as the industry embraced a new generation of field-first digital tools. Throughout her career, she has helped construction organizations navigate technology adoption—not just understanding what new tools can do, but how to successfully incorporate them into existing workflows and processes.

Today at SmartPM, Kristen works with construction leaders to leverage schedule data and project intelligence, improving visibility, identifying risk earlier, and enabling more informed project decisions. Her experience across a range of construction technology gives her a practical, grounded perspective on how people, process, and technology work together. She uses that perspective to help organizations better prepare for the future.
