Jessica Wagner, AIA, LEED AP BD+C is an architect at Perkins and Will, Chicago. She is originally from Connecticut and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Architectural Studies from Boston University. After spending several years at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, she moved to Chicago to pursue architecture at the University of Illinois at Chicago. While studying at UIC, Jessica spent a semester studying abroad in Barcelona, Amsterdam, Florence, and Rome. Since earning her M.ARCH, Jessica has helped to design museum exhibitions in Chicago and New York City. Most recently, for the past five years, Jessica has been working at Perkins and Will in the K-12 and Higher Education market sectors.
As an architect here, her focus is largely on master plans, renovations, additions, and health and life safety work for local schools in the Chicagoland area, most recently Proviso High Schools, Highland Park High School, Deerfield High School, College of DuPage, and Oakton Community College. At Perkins and Will, Jessica serves as the Diversity and Inclusion champion for the Chicago office, promoting diversity and engagement among her colleagues. She is also a member of the Association for Preservation Technology and is an active member of the Skyline Council of Landmarks Illinois.
