Jeremy Mitchell is a twenty-seven-year veteran of the fire service currently serving as Deputy Fire Marshal in Champaign, Illinois. He is a credentialed Fire Marshal and Fire and Emergency Services Analyst through the Center for Public Safety Excellence and serves on the National Fire Protection Association Technical Committees for NFPA 1037, Fire Marshal Professional Qualifications and NFPA 1300, Standard on Community Risk Assessment and Community Risk Reduction Plan Development. Jeremy is a legacy member of the Vision 20/20 Champions and Emerging Leaders in Community Risk Reduction advisory group and was most recently accepted for membership in the Institution of Fire Engineers.
