Heath Cowan

Heath Cowan is a construction professional with more than two decades of experience directing large-scale, complex projects throughout Chicago, ranging from high-rise buildings to major aviation infrastructure at O’Hare International Airport. In his current role, Heath leads the Project Management Team overseeing construction of O’Hare’s new Concourse D program, which includes a 19-gate concourse, consolidated tunnel, Midfield Cooling Plant, and surrounding civil infrastructure.

Heath is committed to a collaborative team approach that aligns the interests of owners, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders. He leads project teams toward informed decisions that serve the client’s broader objectives while balancing cost, schedule, quality, and operational requirements. Known for driving operational excellence, Heath brings particular strength in preconstruction estimating, cost management, and the development of creative solutions that keep complex projects aligned with budget targets.
