Georgios Kontominas is a licensed architect (US, UK, GR) working at the intersection of architecture, building technology, and artificial intelligence. He is the Co-Founder & CEO of ArchiBoost AI, a San Francisco–based, venture-backed startup building the intelligence layer for the built environment — delivering AI-powered code compliance, QA/QC review automation, and institutional knowledge systems for AEC teams. Throughout his career, Georgios has collaborated with prominent architecture firms such as WRNS Studio and SOM in San Francisco, and SPARCH Sakellaridou/Papanikolaou Architects in Thessaloniki, Greece, where he led a wide range of projects from schematic design to completion, across various scales and sectors.

He holds a Diploma in Architectural Engineering (Dipl-Ing) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was Valedictorian. Georgios furthered his education with a Master’s degree from UC Berkeley’s College of Environmental Design, graduating with Distinction. During his time at Berkeley, he received multiple merit-based scholarships, including recognition as a Gerondelis Foundation Scholar and a Stavros Niarchos Foundation awardee, while also working as a Graduate Student Researcher concentrating on Additive Manufacturing, Bio-inspired Design and Digital Fabrication.

Georgios’ work has been exhibited internationally in Greece, Cyprus, Spain, the UK, China, and the US, and he has been nominated for prestigious awards, including the EU Mies van der Rohe Award (2024 nominee with SPARCH Architects for the American Elementary School of Thessaloniki, "Anatolia").
