Dominic is a strategic thinker with well-rounded experiences in project management, facilities operations, space planning, capital projects, finance, leadership and staff management. He has extensive experience working with budgets exceeding $10M, and working with contractors, trades, vendors, and clients.
Working currently for the City of Chicago as Director of Facilities Management, He recently worked as the Director of Facilities and Safety at Howard Brown Health where he was responsible for the day to day maintenance and physical plant operations of eight health clinics in the Chicagoland area.
Dominic also worked as the vice president at Mid-Atlantic/Southeast Region for Hosteling International USA, and as the director/general manager of residential facilities at various universities including The University of Chicago, Montclair State University, and St John’s University. In addition, he worked as a teacher, trainer, instructor, and adjunct professor at Baruch College, St. John’s University, DePaul University, and the University of Michigan.
Dominic has a PhD in Industrial Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Master’s in Business Education Leadership from Illinois State University, and a Bachelor’s in Business/Marketing from Saint Xavier University.
