Danielle Passaglia is a licensed mechanical engineer with both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Nebraska. As a senior engineer and project manager at SmithGroup, an integrated architecture and engineering firm, Danielle is able to utilize her communication and technical skills to manage and design the mechanical systems for a diverse range of buildings ranging from Science and Technology, Higher Education, and Commercial and Cultural.

Beyond her technical expertise, Danielle is deeply committed to STEM outreach. She serves on the Illinois ASHRAE board and has authored two STEM books for children, aiming to inspire the next generation of engineers and scientists.
