Craig T. Cernek, a licensed architect in Illinois and Tennessee with previous licenses held in Michigan, Wisconsin, Colorado, and Indiana, specializes in residential and light commercial construction as a founding principal of dba Cernek Architects, a design-build firm established in 1990. He has been the senior architect for Tigerman McCurry Architects LTD. for the past eight years. Cernek served on the AIA Chicago chapter’s Board of Directors, where he chaired committees on Working With an Architect, Small Practitioners Group, and Small Project Awards. In 2025, Cernek was elected as president to the Association of Licensed Architects board of directors.
