Christopher Sanchez is a Senior Engineer in the Applied Science group at Thornton Tomasetti, where he translates advanced materials research into practical, low-carbon building solutions. He focuses on regenerative and emerging novel materials, performing life-cycle assessments and techno-economic analyses to address scalability, performance, and integration challenges in conventional construction systems. Previously, he worked at a startup focused on carbon-sequestering materials, scaling mineralization processes from the laboratory to practical construction applications. He holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from the University of Minnesota.
