Chealon Shears

Chealon Shears is a Deputy Director of Cook County’s Department of Capital Planning and Policy under the Bureau of Asset Management. She oversees renovation, new construction, and various capital improvement projects in the healthcare facilities owned and leased by Cook County that include John H. Stroger Hospital campus, Provident Hospital campus, and fourteen health clinics located throughout the County. She has about 25 years’ experience in real estate development, real estate financing, construction, and program management.
