Cameron Trefry
Cameron Trefry is Regional Vice President for Ware Malcomb, an international, award-winning design firm, offering architecture, planning, interior design, branding, civil engineering and building measurement services to corporate and commercial real estate clients. He is responsible for overseeing overall growth in the firm’s Midwest region, including Oak Brook, Chicago, Columbus and Washington, D.C. offices. In addition, Cameron provides extensive Industrial Design and Cold Storage expertise to clients across North America.
Cameron was named an Emerging Industrial Leader by Real Estate Forum magazine, and is actively involved in commercial real estate industry organizations including NAIOP, SIOR and AIRE. He is currently serving on the national NAIOP Forum Committee – Technology in the Built Environment. The goal of the Forum is to establish best practices in utilizing technology; managing risk; and overcoming obstacles to replacing underperforming CRE technology solutions.
Cameron frequently contributes his industry knowledge and expertise to a variety of publications and outlets across North America. Recently, he coauthored the ‘Best Practices in Cold Storage Facility Development’ e-book in conjunction with NAIOP, and appeared in ‘A New Approach to Cold Storage Buildings’ Horizon TV Episode produced by Building Design + Construction. He received his Bachelor of Architecture degree in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
