As Vice President of Design and Strategy, Alicia is responsible for overseeing the overall design development process across the Article platform. She leads the direction and strategy for new development while collaborating closely with the operational team to manage existing assets. Alicia joined Article Student Living in 2018 overseeing 40 property deliveries in a span of 6 years. She has 20 years of commercial real estate experience represented by a multifaceted background that encompasses Student Living, Multifamily Residential, Hospitality, and Office Development. Prior to joining Article, Alicia spent 13 years with a prominent Chicago developer acting in a Development Management, Owners Rep and Project Management capacity. She graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago where she was a D1 scholarship athlete, and is a LEED AP BD+C and WELL AP.
