Alex is a Senior Interior Designer at Wright Heerema Architects with over a decade of experience specializing in building repositioning, interior renovations, and tenant improvement projects across the commercial workplace sector. Holding a Master’s degree in Architecture from University of Kansas, she brings a strategic, detail-oriented approach to projects that balances design vision with constructability, budget considerations, and long-term real estate value. Her experience spans all phases of design, including space planning, finish development, client presentations, construction documentation, and coordination with consultants, contractors, and ownership teams. Recognized as one of Chicago’s 30 Under 30 by Interior Design Magazine, Alex is passionate about shaping thoughtful, high-performing environments that support both tenant experience and broader development goals. She remains actively engaged in Chicago’s commercial real estate and design communities, with a strong interest in the evolving relationship between architecture, workplace strategy, and the built environment.
