Aaron Bock, PE has been designing plumbing and medical gas systems for healthcare facilities for over 12 years and is the Plumbing & Fire Protection Discipline Leader for CannonDesign’s Chicago office. He has worked in Revit and Navisworks almost exclusively during this time. He is a licensed professional engineer and holds several other professional certifications. He has been active in the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) for his entire career and has held several officer positions at the chapter level. He is also a member of the American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE), the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE, and the US Green Building Council (USGBC). Aaron has authored several publications on controlling waterborne bacteria in plumbing systems and is a frequent editor of ASPE’s Plumbing Engineering Design Handbooks. He was recently appointed to the ASHRAE Standard 514: Minimizing Risk of Disease and Injury Associated with Building Water Systems committee. He has a degree in Engineering Mechanics & Astronautics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
